Introduction
This two day course introduces the student to the basic 2-tier installation of Microsoft Business Solutions(Axapta( 3.0 including its general architecture, hardware and software requirements, the step-by-step 2-tier installation, database installation, and components.
Audience
This course is intended for System Administrators and other technical support responsible for the planning and installation and configuration of Microsoft Axapta 3.0. This audience typically includes technical consultants working with Microsoft Axapta to develop customizations and modifications to meet clients' needs. Additionally, consultants who are responsible for training or supporting the customer benefit from this course.
At Course Completion
After completing this course, students should be able to:

Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students must have:
• | Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows® 2000, Windows 2003, or Windows XP. |
• | Successful completion of Microsoft Certification Exams 70-215 and 70-216 or 70-290 and 70-291 would be ideal. |
• | High technical proficiency with SQL Server 2000. |
• | Knowledge of X++ programming is an advantage when talking about tuning of Axapta systems. |

Chapter 2: Hardware and Software Requirements
